Tommy and his sister came to us in August 2023 after being surrendered by their owner. The two siblings were only 11 pounds each, extremely skinny, and needed around-the-clock care and plenty of love to get them healthy again.
Thankfully, it wasn't long before both found incredible homes. Tommy's sister, Rene, was placed with a veterinarian, while Tommy found an amazing home with a professional trainer. And look at him now! ❤️🐾 That trainer saw Tommy's potential and turned him into an incredible bed bug detection and working dog.
Today, Tommy works on the Las Vegas Strip and travels around the world doing detection work.
From a tiny, fragile rescue dog who needed 24/7 care to a highly trained working dog with an important job, Tommy's story is exactly why we never give up on these babies.
